I travel quite a bit. Being a management consultant means that you go where the action is for your clients, and you stay committed and engaged until you get the job done for them. This USB storage drive is tiny, impressive, durable, and a must have for me on the road. The transfer speed for data going on and off this device definitely passes all standards necessary for me to achieve success while I am away from my office, and it is great for transferring files for client projects on the go. It is compatible with both Mac and PC machines, and has a lanyard attachment that allows you to hook it to your keys, or any other handy devices, that you travel with on a regular basis.
Over they years, I have tried out dozens of products to compliment and improve my outdoor experience...and when it comes to sunglasses, Randolph Engineering glasses are head and shoulders above the rest. Randolph Engineering products are famed for their quality and durability. Each pair of sunglasses goes through more than 200 production stages at their facility in Massachusetts and are conducted mostly by hand. Randolph Engineering sunglasses were originally built for the US Military. In 1982, the company became the prime contractor for military-style aviation flight glasses for the US Department of Defense, and in the 90's eventually expanded their sales to commercial lines. Over the last few decades, their products have continued to evolve and are must-have glasses for pilots, fashion icons, hunters, and people like me who demand the best from the products we carry.
The reason I love white elephant gift exchanges around the holidays, is because it is a tradition my family has participated in for many years. At our family holiday party each year, everyone brings a present that is $35 or less. Each gift is opened by a member of the family and can be stolen by other family members up to two times. I received the Kershaw Pocket Knife at our 2009 holiday party at my parent's house, after utilizing the final steal in our last round of swaps. It was a highly sought after item, and I was so happy to be walking away with it. Everything about this pocket knife is great - the size, weight, and blade-style make it a perfect EveryDay Carry item; and while I have a lot of knives in my collection, the Kershaw Pocket Knife is easily the best knife in it's price point, and it will be a staple in my EDC collection for many years to come.
In 1988, my Stepdad gave me my first Space Pen...and in many ways he is also responsible for encouraging my love for Everyday Carry. The Space Pen has been a constant carry for me for the last 28 years not only because of it's nostalgia, but also because of how reliable it is in any given situation. The Space Pen was designed for NASA in the 1960's because of it's versatility and ability to write under water, in temperatures from -30 to +250 degrees Fahrenheit, in zero gravity, and at any angle, even upside down. It is sleek and compact, making it easy to carry, and incredibly handy when a friend or client asks, "does anyone have a pen?"
