Is Twitter Dead?

You know I consider myself to be an undercover tech nerd. Well I guess not so undercover as I have now stated this on my website and I have a website with my name on it. The good news is I think I am the only one that reads this site so I may well still be safe.

That said, I wondered today when the last time I even cared to sign into my twitter account. I mean I have so many access points to the social media site. I can enter through a widget on google. It is installed as an add on in my browser. I have it on my iPhone. But I literally have not signed on in seemingly months.

Does the Free Market Corrode Moral Character?

For my EMBA class "The Weave", our professor assigned for reading a John Templeton Foundation Conversation called "Does The Free Market Corrode Moral Character?" Gray is right when he says, "An economic system is good to the extent that it harnesses human imperfections in the service of human welfare." I would also add that we ought not look to free markets or central planning to correct the failings of man.

Atlanta: ULI Spring Council Forum

I am off to Atlanta shortly for the Urban Land Institute's Spring Council Forum. This should be an interesting session as we are almost a year into the beginning of the noticeable signs of the recession. The impact has been huge on the real estate interests that serve on a variety of the councils. It will be interesting to see who has survived. I know many of our friends will not be joining us this year.
