EAA - Oshkosh Annual Fly-In

This past weekend I attended the Experimental Aircraft Association's (EAA) Annual Fly-In in Oshkosh, WI. It had been 20 years since I last attended and much has changed since then. I no longer aspire to be a fighter pilot. I no longer want to be an officer in the United States Air Force. But one thing hasn't changed and that is my appreciation for flight and my desire to one day have a pilot's license.

So this weekend, I of course saw the F-22 in action. What an amazing jet and feat of engineering. To learn more about this modern U.S. war plane go here.

But I was really there to see the Very Light Jets that are the wave of the future and to also look at the Light Sport Aircraft. One of them is within my sights. Can you guess which one...?

Ok, I will give you a hint. I am pictured here sitting in one that is not within my grasp, yet.

P.S. Mike, can we get one of these instead of the NJ membership?
